I've decided to take the opportunity to build a trimbox while 1C is fixing the game.
There are so many commands nowadays, that I want to have a dedicated panel for them (so I can put markings to know what do what %-6 ).
Also, I would like to use some nice multiturn pots (that I found at the skrotförråd at work

) for trim, as the X52 rotaries are a bit funky and just not precise enough.
I've also ordered some rotary encoders from Ebay for those +/- commands that can't be assigned to an axis.
The layout will be sheet aluminium, folded like an L to form a crude panel.
It will hold 3 multiturn pots, maybe a few single turns, a few rotaries and a load of buttons.
Everything will connect to the
BU0836X USB inteface from Leo Bodnar.
Project roadmap:
Get alu sheet: Hmm, I've heard K-Rauta might have nice sheet alu... Will look.
Get multiturns: Done!

With scales similar to
these.
Get single turns: Ordered 110404
Get the BU0836X: Ordered 110404
Get som nice cheap buttons: Ordered 110405. They were cheap, hope they are decent.
Get
rotary encoders: Ordered from Ebay, "Pure Electronics, China" - 16$ for 10 including knobs.

I'm not 100% sure that they will do what I think they'll do, but cheap enough to try anyway.
Edit 110404: The USB device is ordered! Also ordered 4 single turn pots, as he had a nice price for what appear to be great pots! Oh, I need some knobs...
